When I saw Carthedral in person-- a Cadillac hearse turned into a work of art-- I couldn't pull myself away from it. It's hard to imagine how imposing, beautiful, and freakishly powerful it is until you stand next to it. I was so stoked I wanted to go home immediatlely and start attaching things to my truck.

Rebecca Caldwell took a VW beetle, grafted it on the top of the hearse, and augmented the basic framework with an astonishing level of symbolism and detail. You can see more at her website. Also do a Google search for artcars. It will change the way you think of "art."
