Developing a consistent CVI opened the door to developing product families, based on either the product's functionality or its target market.

The Studio family consists of the award-winning and immensely popular Studio video editing software for the PC; each version is tailored to a different user (those with analog or digital camcorders, laptops, etc.)

The Creative collection is intended for the higher-end (either prosumer or professional) user. Commotion, for example, is used regularly by Hollywood special effects studios. I developed the "crop circle" theme for this family, and we used an "aluminum" foil emboss to further distinguish them from the other families.
